Fans have been waiting anxiously to watch some of the long impending sequels which include xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. January 2017 will open with several highly anticipated movies.

Most Awaited Films Of January 2017
xXx: Return of Xander Cage
The D. J. Caruso directorial is an action-thriller starring Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone and Nina Dobrev. It serves as the third installment of xXx franchise. It returns on the big screen after 2005 sequel xXx: State of the Union.
Brazilian footballer Neymar will also play a significant role in the film. However, no details have emerged yet about his character in the film.
But the last part had a disastrous outcome which came out sans Diesel. Furthermore, this is a long awaited sequel as it will be coming out 15 years after the original xXx release, as per Movie Web.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
The upcoming science-fiction action horror film is the final part of Resident Evil film series. The film is inspired by the Capcom survival horror video game series Resident Evil.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts and Ruby Rose in important roles. The film picks up immediately after the last sequel Retribution and begins almost where it left off. In addition to this, the first trailer of the film looks extremely promising and encouraging.
Finally, the fans must get ready to witness daring Milla Jovovich killing zombies and monsters in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The final installment of the film series will release on January 27, 2017 in North America.
