Hwarang: The Beginning also known as Hwarang is the most anticipated Korean drama on KBS2 network. It features a star-studded cast in which Park Seo-joon, Go Ara and Park Hyung-sik’s characters form the love triangle.
The storyline takes place in the capital of the Kingdom of Silla. It tells the story of six Hwarang warriors led by Park Seo-joon, playing a character named Moo-myung, reports Drama Beans.
From the trailers of Hwarang: The Beginning, it appears to weave a serious as well as a humorous plotline. Apart from these two things, it will also feature a romantic love triangle of cast Park Seo-joon, Go Ara (Aro)and Park Hyung-sik’s (King Sam Maek-jong) characters.

Love Triangle In Hwarang: The Beginning
Hwarang: The Beginning will feature an interesting love triangle. Moo-myung falls in love with Aro. The love story between them begins when Moo-myung starts out wanting to protect her, which turns to love reports Drama Beans.
The website further reports that the background of Go Ara’s character consists of mixed parentage. Aro is half-lowly and half-royal. She carries a frank and straightforward personality despite her low key background.
King Jinheung aka King Sam Maek-jong comes into the picture and forms the third wheel in the love story. The website reports his character as someone who takes a secret identity. He does this to keep himself safe from the threats on his life. Moreover, he does not trust anyone easily and is more a lonely character.
The storyline of Hwarang: The Beginning appears to be appealing and has kept the fans buzzing about the series.
Other Cast Members In Hwarang: The Beginning
Apart from the lead characters, there are several supporting characters in this KBS 2 network series. They are Min-ho, Do Ji-han, Jo Yoon-woo and others.
According to Drama Beans, Min-ho plays the character of a playboy who is also an aristocrat. Although Min-ho’s character is of a playboy Soo-ho who is in love with a woman deeply in Hwarang: The Beginning.
Do Ji-han plays role of Ban-ryu who places more focus on seeking power. He is one of the Hwarang who is a bit cold blooded reports the website. And Jo Yoon-woo plays Yeo-wool who is beautiful and mysterious in nature.
Hwarang: The Beginning will premiere on Dec 19 on KBS2 Network.
