After the season premiere marathon in which we were treated to an episode a day, it seems that lately, everything has been rather quiet on the “Girl Meets World” front. However, fans of the show need not fear as the show will be coming back, according to Spoiler TV, for its regular programming, every 8:30 PM every Friday on the Disney Channel, with three brand new episodes in which a Matthews family member will make an appearance, and in which an old face from “Boy Meets World” will make an appearance as well. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers on the next three episodes of “Girl Meets World”- “Girl Meets the Tell-Tale-Tot”, “Girl Meets the Rules” and “Girl Meets the New Teacher”; which will air beginning Friday, June 5, 2015 at 8:30 PM on the Disney Channel. According to the release on Spoiler TV, “Girl Meets The Tell-Tale-Tot” will see Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) struggle in the murky moral waters of what happens when one tells a lie, especially if that lie is told to her parents.
Here, Riley lies to her parents so that she and her best friend, Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) can attend a party, but later has to deal with the fact that she feels guilty about sneaking around with her parents not knowing.
This episode also features Maya’s long time crush and Riley’s uncle, Joshua “Josh” Matthews (Uriah Shelton).
Meanwhile, according to Spoiler TV, the seventh episode of the season, “Girl Meets Rules”, deals with something that is very familiar to both Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong)- detention.
In this episode, chaos ensues as the class becomes divided after the entire class earns a class wide detention.
Meanwhile, Ava (Ava Kolker), Auggie Matthews’ (August Maturo) self-proclaimed will be back with a vengeance as she tries to be a little bit more behaved and nicer after learning that she might lose Auggie to another girl.
This episode will also feature Cory’s old school bully, janitor Harley (Danny McNulty).
According to Spoiler TV, a familiar face will be finding his way into the hearts of more students as Anthony Tyler Quinn will be appearing as Mr. Turner in the eighth episode of the season, entitled “Girl Meets the New Teacher”.
In this episode, their new English teacher gets into trouble after she, a non-traditional teacher, tries to use a comic book as a “learning tool”. However, the principal of the school becomes disappointed in Cory as well after he defends her “creative ways” of teaching.
