“Game of Thrones” Season 4 is fast approaching! With only a few weeks to wait, you’re not the only one frustrated from waiting for its impeding premiere date. In fact, even celebrities aren’t immune to the popular HBO fantasy series.

Recently, Madonna joined this list of celebrities who are die hard fans of “Game of Thrones.”

Cosplay-worthy costumes:

Queen of Pop Madonna paid tribute to the Mother of the Dragons by dressing up as Daenerys Targaryen in celebration of the Purim, a Jewish holiday on March 17, 2014.

Well, the Queen of Pop isn’t the only one who got into the “Game Of Thrones” cosplay hype. The trend even invaded the Halloween party scene  in 2013.

According to Huffington Post, ”Veronica Mars” lead star Kristen Bell, who reprised her famous TV role again in a movie  in 2014, is a die hard fan.

In 2013, Kristen and her husband, “Parenthood” star Dax Shepard, dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo. Check Dax’s tweet about it.

It was also reported in US Weekly that Hollywood couple Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy threw a star-studded Game of Thrones-themed Halloween Party.

In an interview with Vulture, “The Mindy Project” cast member Ike Barinholtz dressed up for Adam Levine’s Halloween party as Catelyn Stark’s lady knight Brienne while his wife as Brienne’s prisoner, the kingslayer Jamie Lannister.

 

GOT is aca-awesome! 

Aside from being costars in “Pitch Perfect” co-stars,  Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and Adam DeVine are also fans of HBO’s fantasy drama.

According to an article from Cultural Learnings, Anna and Elizabeth Banks joins the other celebrities who were given their own personalized  ”Influencer” 2013 wooden chests including Mindy Kaling, Bruno Mars, Jaime King, Patton Oswalt, Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien.

Adam, who plays the rude jock-nerd Bumper in the movie, and his Workaholics’ co-star Anders Holm and Blake Anderson made a  hilarious parody video for Team Coco,which appears to be a “lost” audition tape for Season 4.

The Red Wedding on Season 3, Episode 9: “The Rains of Castamere” is indeed one of the most-awaited and controversial events in both the “Game of Thrones” books and in TV series.   Apparently, we are not the only ones who are devastated with the death of Catelyn, Robb and their troops.

A “Thronie” by marriage.

Remember “The Whole Nine Yards” actress Amanda Peet? Maybe this did not pass your GOT radar, but  she’s married to the show’s co-creator David Benioff since 2006 and they got 2 lovely daughters already! According to Vanity Fair, .Peet used to help her husband with editing a few scripts before making another career as a playwright

In an interview with Huffington Post, she is proud to say that she’s “addicted.”

“I’m like a coke addict for Game of Thrones,” Peet told the Huffington Post.

“[David Benioff's] like my drug lord. When he brings home dailies, I’m like shaking in the corner,” she added.’

 

Elijah Wood: From “The Lord of the Rings” (LOTR) to “Game of Thrones” (GOT):

Known in the world of fantasy books and movies as “Frodo,” the famous star of the “Lord of the Rings” franchise, it’s not surprising that he is a fan of GOT.

In a sit-down interview with Conan O’Brien, he shared how he is crazy for the HBO series.

“I’d never been to Northern Ireland before… As we’re landing, I’m literally humming out loud the Game of Thrones’ theme… I did actually manage to get a chance to visit the set… I actually got to sit on the Iron Throne… I actually got a Winterfell candle,” said Wood in the interview with Conan O’Brien.

President Obama.

 According to NY Mag, President Obama is a TV fanatic. He cites popular shows such as HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, “The Wire” and “Boardwalk Empire,” AMC’s “Breaking Bad and “Mad Men,”  Netflix’s “House of Cards”, iTV’s Downton Abbey” and Showtime’s Homeland” as some of his favourites.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Benioff and Weiss (creators of Game of Thrones) confirmed the rumors that the “Most Powerful Man In The World” received advanced copies of the show’s 4th season.

“One perk of being the most powerful man in the world: yes, you get to see episodes early.” the pair said in a joint email that can be seen in the Vanity Fair report.
