Degrassi: Next Class new season is all set to come out early next year. The opening episode of the upcoming installment will finally answer the cliffhanger in Season 2.
Based on the details, the group went to watch a volleyball match and their bus met with an accident on the way. Degrassi: Next Class Season 3 trailer does not reveal a lot of details but one of them seem to be critical.

There were no fatalities reported but one of them was critically injured by the end of last season. Maya, Zig, and Jonah were the last one to talk; probably it is one of them is in the bad state.
The show will introduce two new leads (Rasha and Saad) in this season along with the recurring cast. It will begin a few months after Season 2 finale beginning with a new school session.
The series follows a group of high school teenagers from Degrassi Community School, a fictional school in Toronto. It depicts issues and challenges faced by them in their day-to-day life. Some of these groundbreaking issues are abortion, depression, mental illness, drug abuse, and racism.

Series co-creator Linda Schuyler mentioned that the team is already working on ideas for Seasons 5 and 6. There will a lot of new characters joining this time and the auditions have already begun.
