This year the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB also featured a Short Film Competition. Judged by their peers at the award night, it was the all-Swede team, lead by filmer Simon Duse, who came out on top as the winner of the team battle taking the coveted “Best Film” title. “I really liked the team format, it made the whole event so personal and created a great atmosphere!”, commented the stoked Duse, who won himself a special edition Giant bike.
Bringing creativity to the game, all teams worked tightly together, with Team Hadrien Picard, aka the French team, featuring an ‘inner child’ theme, while Team Mario Feil poured inspiration from Livigno’s smuggling history and the story behind the bike trails. Team El Flamingo used fireworks to light up the action on all the obstacles and focused on getting the maximum out of the course, as well as, on the freeride trails.
