AMG and Cigarette Racing have a long and glorious history of partnership. The AMG-inspired boats that came out of this partnership are among the most coveted by those who can afford to have a posh mid-life crisis. The latest project the two parties have worked on together is the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept.

As the name suggests, this one is inspired by the AMG Vision GT concept; an imaginary super sports car designed solely for the Gran Tursimo 6 video game. It proved so popular, Mercedes created a 1:1 scale model of it to show to the public every opportunity they get. It now goes on display, alongside the new Cigarette boat at the Miami International Boat Show.

The AMG Vision GT Cigarette Boat is a one-of-a-kind model developed jointly by Cigarette Racing Team, Mercedes-AMG and Polyphony Digital. It features an Alubeam painted exterior that includes a custom matte black hull and accents, and boasts twin 1650 hp Mercury Racing engines.

Following the AMG GT’s recipe of performance through lightness, the designers of the boat have taken out nearly 1000 lbs of weight from the standard spec, making this concept a superleggera boat capable of doing 140 mph.

Being a lightweight does not mean the AMG Vision GT Cigarette Boat has skimped on luxury. It has a black interior garnished with black alcantara accents and carbon fiber dash panels with silver face gauges. It also comes with Bluetooth, computerized controls, four high-definition displays, and the next generation integration of Garmin and Cigarette navigation and audio.

You can have the AMG Vision GT super car, but the Cigarette boat can be yours USD $1.5 million.
