In a new video, Alfa Romeo has revealed a glimpse of its Stelvio SUV partially uncovered. The new model is rumored to debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November.

The footage, posted on Fiat Chrysler’s own YouTube channel, shows a crossover sporting a rather conventional front end and coupe-like body. It takes place at the Fiat Cassino assembly plant in Italy, which also produces the Alfa Romeo Giulia. The new SUV is expected to share the same rear-drive Giorgio platform with the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan. It is also likely to share engines, including the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 that makes 505 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque in the Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Set to take on the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-Pace, the Stelvio SUV marks new territory for the fledgling Alfa Romeo brand. Amid product delays and slow sales of the 4C, an SUV could drive big numbers like the F-Pace has done for Jaguar, which saw sales jump 189 percent in the U.S. last month. At the Geneva auto show earlier this year, Alfa Romeo boss Harald Wester said the Stelvio was on track for a “late autumn” debut, which would coincide with a North American reveal at the L.A. auto show.

We would direct your attention to the video, but it looks like Alfa Romeo has since made the video private.
