The continued success of SoCal Honda Powersports demands that we hire a capable and motivated Business/Office Manager at its Carson, CA dealership. The successful candidate will have experience in this role.

Business/Office Manager

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the processing of dailies, deposits, funding, title work, unit registration, major unit input, store checkbook, filing, safeguarding consumer information, HR paperwork, supply orders, and other general office tasks

- Make sure all job tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet individual deadlines and regulations

- Exercise fair and consistent leadership with all employees

- Manage daily direction for employees including managers and supervisors

- Enhance leadership strength through development of all personnel

- Interface with staff and customers

- Actively promote an environment and culture focused on customer service and teamwork

- Manage financial report processing and reviews

- Ensure proper training for all personnel

- Lead continuous improvement efforts that support annual goals for service and cost control

- Monitor internal controls

- Provide management assistance to other departments as necessary

- Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees

- Enforce company policies and procedures

- Attract, hire, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and retain administrative employee.

- Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership as a whole

The Business/Office Manager's role is critical to the exceptional service we provide to our customers. This highly visible position will have overall responsibility for the dealership.

Qualifications:

- DMV experience

- Management, accounts payable/receivable

- Must have exceptional communication skills

- Be an excellent coach and mentor, capable of developing a management team for motivating an hourly workforce

- Strong presentation and analytical skills are essential

- Supervisory and/or office management experience, preferably in the automobile or Powersports industry

- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- An Accounting Degree or accounting courses

- Experience with dealership deal processing and accounting software
