My Client, a major aftermarket manufacturer seeks a Sales and Marketing Manager to move their business forward. This is a premium company with a great reputation, lot's of room for growth for the right person!
Position Responsibilities and Objectives:
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for continued growth of sales by creating sales strategies, plans and objectives carried out through sales channels, and communicates and executes the sales strategy through marketing by creating campaigns, programs and projects in all media’s to meet sales objectives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, business and/or related experience. Additionally, a commitment to continuous improvement while on the job.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in the power sports industry in manufacturing, distribution, sales, advertising and exporting.

Functional Outline:
Sales Manager Function:
Accomplishes sales and marketing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Collaborates with individuals throughout the company to develop sales strategies which improve market share and profitability across all product lines.
Prepares budgets and approve expenditures
Assign sales territories and set sales quotas
Set goals: establish overall monthly objectives and daily sales people objectives
Design and implement sales incentive programs for sales people
Follow up: Review sales programs, history, trends and spot opportunities
Forecast sales projections based on history, trends, season and sales activities
Hire, train and retain quality sales people
Assists sales people with the daily routine of incoming & outgoing phone sales, events and trade shows.
Works with sales team to maintain proper customer service and technical support levels
Works with sales team to grow sales through all sales channels including international distributors
Other duties as assigned
Marketing Manager function:
Direct company branding and management world-wide
Works with Marketing Coordinator and/or ad agency to create cohesive media to market the brand, products and benefits
Creates media communication programs through print, web, video, social media and other outlets.
Creates the vision of the brand and communicates via public relations and other media
Works with Marketing Coordinator to create programs to generate sales opportunities and branding opportunities such as Rider Support, Media & OEM.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Communication Interfaces:
This position reports directly to the President.
Requires significant interaction with Research & Development, Packaging, Shipping and Bookkeeping.
