Summary 

Our client in the Northeastern United States is looking for an experienced premium  apparel brands sales executive with a documented record of success. This individual will be responsible for the sales, support, and strategic development of existing imported motorcycle apparel brands throughout North America. They will oversee direct to consumer sales as well as develop a wholesale customer base.

 

Responsibilities include:

Serve as primary contact and manager of assigned vendor relationships 

Work with vendors to create and/or source sales and marketing collateral to support website merchandising of product line 

Collaborate with logistics team and third party freight forwarders to develop an efficient product importation process 

Work with merchandising team to list product on retail website in a market-leading manner consistent with the brand 

Collaborate with vendors and other in-house resources to create product line plans for future years 

Provide feedback to vendors on product issues and needs for future product offerings 

Manage inventory planning, sales forecasting and replenishment for assigned vendors 

Manage purchase order lifecycle including backorders and pre-books 

Continued development of the retail channels in order to further brand recognition and sales 

Create and develop a wholesale sales channel through a core group of high quality, highly engaged key accounts and manage the ongoing wholesale relationships

Develop and implement marketing plan focused on growing brand awareness and measurable ROI in collaboration with marketing team

Manage order processing, inclusive of backorders and pre-orders, for wholesale accounts 

Effectively scale high-growth operations through integration of technology, staffing, and processes

 

​Experience and Education

The ideal candidate will have experience in online retail and purchasing with a passion for motorcycling. The candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work both as a team manager and independently.

 

The ideal candidate should have: 

Five to ten years experience with backgrounds in sales, marketing, and/or purchasing in a retail or wholesale environment.

Experience working with and/or developing retail sales programs 

Passion for motorcycling and motorcycle apparel 

Experience interfacing with EU apparel brands a plus 

Proficient in web/office software including Excel, Gmail, Chrome, etc. 

Experience in buying seasonal fashion goods and/or hard or soft goods for retail a plus 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
