Summary

Our dynamic, non-traditional, flourishing and “best in class” client, located in a major Eastern Atlantic metro area, is looking for a “Power House” Email Marketing Manager to drive business growth through email.

Note: This position does not offer a “work from home-office” option.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in email marketing, online marketing and / or direct marketing. The Email Marketing Manager will amplify the voice and relevancy of the organization to current customers and potential customers via email touch points and lifecycle(s). The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, operational production and execution of one off, segmented and lifecycle based email and programs.

The ideal candidate should have experience with email planning, deployment and web content management relating to eCommerce marketing strategy and customer retention.

The position requires technical expertise in digital marketing and communications combined with a full understanding of the available suite of tools used to complement a segmented email strategy.

This individual works closely within the realm of marketing with internal ties to, merchandising, creative, eCommerce and various third-party vendors on a regular basis.

Candidate Requirements  (The Gotta Haves)

•       BA/BS in Marketing, Information Technology or related field

•       3 or more years in the email marketing or interactive marketing industry

•       Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using email distribution and reporting applications

•       Solid knowledge of email construction, including HTML, CSS and variable data scripting

•       Project management skills, including the ability to conceptualize and implement projects from beginning to end across multiple departments such as marketing and IT.

•       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, implementing last-minute changes as needed

•       Excellent attention to detail

•       Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical, creative, and marketing staff

•       Quick learner with the demonstrated ability to prioritize, self manage and meet deadlines

 
Preferred Requirements (The Nice to Haves)

•       Interest or knowledge in motorcycles

•       Experience with CRM, CLV or RFM

 
Duties & Responsibilities

·      Manages launch calendar for optimal timing and frequency of campaigns

·      Grow and manage customer data and contact lists

·      Target appropriate segments with relevant offers, content and messages

·      Collaborate with marketing channel managers (social media, video, etc) to optimize and highlight promos across multiple channels and the website

·      Measure, test. analyze and improve key email metrics, including deliverability, open rates, click-through rates and conversions

·      Develop and maintain a unique promotional offer mix to increase conversions and drive traffic

·      Track, report and identify trends and opportunities for improved email campaign performance metrics

·      Develop, produce, test, and deliver email campaigns utilizing other internal resources where applicable

·      Monitor campaign effectiveness through reporting and analysis

·      Project managing all email deliverables and executing day-to-day operational tasks to support daily email schedule.

·      Experience with designing and deploying email marketing campaigns, programs and segmented strategy

·      Knowledge of email best practices, deliverability, CAN-SPAM legislation, email success metrics

·      Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of email programs simultaneously

·      Experience evaluating and working with third-party partners and tools

·      Identify, test and implement new opportunities to improve conversion and customer satisfaction via email communication pre and post sale

·      Manage and optimize the design, content and layout of email communications

·      Analyze the lift from promotions and help with promotional strategy to drive sales

·      Monitors and minimizes unsubscribe/bounce/complaint rates and ensure spam regulation compliance (e.g. CAN-SPAM)
