If you’re an adventure rider looking for an epic trip to ride with a motocross legend through the Colorado Rocky Mountains, listen up. RM rides has announced it is currently taking entries for the “Win a Trip to the ER” contest. Instead of the Emergency Room, however, ER stands for “Emig Ride.” The contest takes place August 31 – September 4, and eight lucky winners will be chosen to ride with Emig and the RM Rides crew.
Eight winners will receive a prize package that includes hotel accommodations and meals for the duration of the trip. Winners will also receive $300 to assist in their travel to and from Moab, UT, where the ride will begin and end. The 500-mile trip will take the riders through the scenic San Juan Mountains near Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride, CO. About half of the ride will be on dirt roads and trails, allowing the riders to explore old mines and ghost towns while experiencing incredible scenery.
“2014 was the very first ‘Win a Trip to the ER’ contest, and what a pleasure it was,” said Emig. I grew up riding trails in Colorado with my father and brother, so riding this terrain brought back some great memories.”
