MotoQuest Guide Lynn Brown recalls some of his favorite memories from guiding adventures in Vietnam and Laos.

Having been given the opportunity to guide so many great Motoquest Tours all around the world and meeting so many fantastic riders along the way, its impossible to pick just one most memorable event, so please allow me to include three of my favorites MotoQuest moments that took place in Southeast Asia.

Indochina, 2012
Being a Vietnam Veteran made returning to Hanoi to lead the Motoquest Adventure very memorable. I was given the opportunity to ride around the city in a Vietnam Era Jeep (US issue) with USA painted on the bumper. Believe it or not, I received many smiles & many waves & many hellos from the Vietnamese people. At one point I even received a standing salute from an older gentleman on a street corner. The war is long over, trust me.......

Laos Tour, 2014.
Sitting around the evening campfire were Mia (Kris's daughter, both from Alaska), Randy from New Mexico, Bill from the Bay Area, California and a local friendly dog on Bill's lap. We were spending the night at the Ranger Camp in the Nam Et, NBCA National Bio-Diversity Conservation Area (Laos National Protected Area) in the mountain jungles of northeastern Laos. This camp is located miles from any civilization and only accessible by small boat up the Nam Neum River. The photo seems to tell it all..........relaxation, good friends, no internet or phone service, in fact, no electricity. Jungle living at it's best.

Laos Tour, 2014.

Just south of the Plain of Jars is the small village Mouang Khoune and this ancient Stupa. Someone on the tour was kind enough to take this photo of me. A smile on my face, riding a motorcycle in an exotic foreign country and enjoying life to it's fullest. That is me and that is my life.

Thank you Phil and all the gang at Motoquest for letting me live and ride the dream.

Enjoy and get out and see the world with us.
