SUZUKI PROMOTES ROD LUPUSNAK

Rod Lopusnak has been named Suzuki’s Director and Operations Head of motorcycle/ATV sales and will lead the company’s Motorcycle, ATV and Scooter sales and marketing efforts. Rod will replace Larry Vandiver who is retiring. Rod is great guy and MXA has always appreciated his help. In our opinion, Suzuki couldn’t put a better guy in this position. At Suzuki, Lopusnak had held eight different leadership positions. He started from the bottom and worked his way up. Congratulations Rod Lopusnak.

MITCH PAYTON THINKS OUT OF THE BOX
This is not the Pro Circuit Supercross track, but it is a helicopter.
During the rain storms that hit SoCal in the early days of January all of the Supercross tracks were flooded. When this happens the teams have to stop testing, while the riders get to enjoy riding in the hills or desert. Pro Ciruit’s Mitch Payton found the situation intolerable. He wanted to test and he wanted to test now! So Mitch rented a helicopter and had it fly out to his Glen Helen Supercross track. He had it hover over the track for an hour, so that the prop wash could blow the water off the track and dry out the dirt. It was a brilliant idea, but it didn’t work. It was too wet to fix.

THE HONDA GROM IS THE LAST 2105 MODEL RELEASD
Honda will offered in two additional colors for its second model year of the popular Grom. For 2015, Yellow and Pearl White will join the popular Red and Black versions that were available in its successful debut model year, with all variants getting a new graphic treatment on the tank covers. Still the only product of its kind on the market, the little Grom returns with all the same full-size motorcycle features, including a 124.9cc fuel-injected engine, an inverted fork, hydraulic disc brakes and a steel frame. The versatile machine has room for a passenger, and its curb weight is just 225 pounds.
