Multi talented Naresh Jassal’s journey from an accomplished businessman a politician to Movie making is interesting and tough.
Naresh, migrated from Punjab 26 years ago to start a new life in Austria. he joined mainstream politics to help Indian community .However he always noticed the issue of casteism was very prevalent even today .To bring out this issue and sensitize Indians , he makes his debut with the film. “Kya Fark Padta Hai is based on his own life and its hardships focussing on the caste issue. Acting has always been Naresh’s childhood dream.
The movie has been shot in Austria and in Punjab, with an interesting plot.The title was thought during his conversation with an auto driver in Mumbai.The movie is a complete entertainer with actor Pankaj Berry as main lead .It is loaded with six songs and has an emotional angle too.The movie depicts ups and down ,trials and tribulation faced by the tribe of the scheduled caste and by Naresh himself.He has faced lot of issues through his life when he was in his village.Thereon he went to Austria for further studies but went through ordeals due to his caste again.He joined politics and helped the Indian community for 5 years.
He feels though India is developing country still caste issue prevails at all levels whether you are successful or not.He recalls how he was not invited because of his caste by the college where he was to be honoured. It has been always an obstruction to his growth.However he feels we need to always have faith in God and continue working towards our goal.
He wants to come back to India and he wants to teach people and change their perception on caste and wants to put an end to caste discrimination.
