As a freedom loving spirit, Hisham Sarwar knew that he wasn’t cut-out for a typical 9-5 office job. In 2007, he began freelancing by providing web design and development services and jumped on to the entrepreneurial path. His effort and hard work paid off and Hisham earned $1 million through this freelance work. Today he is the founder of Informist and Being Guru. Utilizing platforms like Freelancer, Guru and Elance with exclusive focus of Guru for the past 5 years, Sarvar was able to churn this huge earning.
His organization employs around 20 employees and works around areas like graphic design, mobile applications and graphic design. Hisham is also credited with creating Pakistan’s first freelance platform called Rozgar Pakistan which helps freelancers to connect to potential clients. Learning from his experiences, Hisham spends a lot of time mentoring individuals with potential and is quite well known as a digital philanthropist.
