All of us in life get afraid from failure. Life is about going out and taking risks. We can’t succeed all the times. Sometime in life it’s important to fail. Until you fail, you will not learn anything new. Here we are presenting ten reasons as why it’s important to fail in life.

1) We learn when we fail as failures teach more

Microsoft founder Bill Gates once said “Its fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.” Failure gives us best possible learning. As a human when we try we make mistakes which may or may not succeed. This process of doings thing and failing is a part of human learning. Don’t take failure lightly. Learn from it and pass on the lessons learnt to others.

2) Failure gives us a new prospective to look at things

Sometime we start following the straight line method. We don’t work out of the box. Sometime it happens because of our comfort level. But a failure can become eye opener which can show us a new way altogether. American Politician and Businessman Donald Trump defines it perfectly “Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war. Donald Trump”

3) Failures make us stronger

Failures give us worst experiences. When we meet the worst we become stronger. Tasting failure means touching new lows of life. It helps us to bounce back. Sometime in life in order to jump a distance we need to put a back gear to life. A beautiful quote of Theodore Roosevelt describes it like “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure. “

4) All major inventions in the world happened because of failure

Two great inventors of the world have proved above right. “I think and think for months and years. Ninety-nine times, the conclusion is false. The hundredth time I am right” said Albert Einstein. Thomas A. Edison too mentioned “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Our life and work is not certain. Sometime failing in an experiment takes us to a completely new world which we often call invention. No invention can happen without a failure.

5) Failure makes you more perfect

In order to be perfect you need all kinds of experiences in life. Good and bad experiences show you all aspects of something. When you fail you get a new exposure.  “Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence” said Colin Powell

6) Failure makes you more humble

Sometime success makes us arrogant. We start feeling top of the world and forgets everything else. Failures balance our life. “Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday”, Wilma Rudolph’s quote proves it right.

7) Failures make you more cautious

Swami Sivananda once said “Do not brood over your past mistakes and failures as this will only fill your mind with grief, regret and depression. Do not repeat them in the future. “ When you meet failure you become more conscious and alert.

8) Failure is a sign that you are trying

Only those people make mistakes who try. Only those people fail who try. That who doesn’t do anything doesn’t fail except failing completely in life. In J. K. Rowling’s words “It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all, in which case you have failed by default. “

9) Failure helps you to keep the hope alive

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.” says Michael Jordan. When you fail you develop the attitude of not quitting. This is how you learn positive attitude towards life.

10) Failures are stepping stones

Success and failure are not permanent. What’s important is to continue your life struggle. Fail but don’t take failure to your head or heart. “Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something. “ says Morihei Ueshiba
