In the real world, toast is delicious and practically everybody is a fan. The situation’s a little different when it comes to toast notifications in Android, as some applications overuse them, such that they quickly become annoying. If you’ve ever looked for a way to block these toast notifications, there is a way and of course it’s an Xposed Framework module.

XDA Senior Member egingell was annoyed with constant toast notifications, so decided to use his programming knowledge to create a module to block them. The module is pretty easy to use, as all you need to do is to enter the name of the package, which can be obtained from the Xposed Framework logs, as well as the text you wish to block. The developer also provided some examples to help users understand the blocking process better.

The module should work on every rooted device with XDA Recognized Developer rovo89‘s Xposed Framework installed, but keep in mind that it was tested on Android 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 only. Be sure to leave feedback if you’re running it successfully on a different version.

UnToaster Xposed is the perfect module to better tailor what should or should not be displayed on your screen. If you are getting lots of toast notifications, you should consider visiting the development thread and giving this module a try. It’s a simple mod, and it can easily make your Android experience better.
