There are two upcoming blood drives in Conshohocken.  Both drives are being held in honor and memory of Conshy locals who are currently battling or battled Leukemia. The details for the two drives are below:

Wednesday, February 5th

A blood drive is being held in honor of Thom Sesko, a 25+ year resident of Conshohocken and fire fighter and EMT with the Lincoln Fire Co., at the Spring Mill Fire Company’s banquet hall from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sesko was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a precursor to Leukemia, in 2012. Since then the MDS has converted to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Sesko is currently being treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. If things go well he will be healthy enough to receive a bone marrow transplant once a donor is found.
