About you
We’re looking for an exceptional, creative and digital savvy marketing director to drive and develop the Moonfruit brand and channel. You will take a genuine marketing lead, with responsibility for the direct management of our company's growth and consolidation over the next few years.
As an increasingly funded 'start-up' in its twelfth year, you will have an opportunity to work closely with our founders over the next phase of accelerated company growth. You'll be part of continuing to create an extraordinary company. You’ll be joining a brilliant team of people, with an in-house design team, an expert development team, plus customer service agents and a marketing team which keeps our community of SME customers supported and happy.
You:
have proven experience integrating creativity and analytical thinking.
enjoy working in an entrepreneurial and creative environment.
would need to be comfortable working with brand, designers and developers while still delivering on ROI.
are an agile and innovative senior marketeer who understands social media, content and digital channels.
will manage our digital media, PR and creative agencies plus internal marketing team and have proven experience in these areas.
will harness an online community and the value of our 500k small businesses!

In addition:
We will be doubling the size of the Moonfruit team over the next 12 months.
Our growth has doubled every 2 years, over the next 12 months we'll be accelerating this rate with increased marketing budgets, additional products to increase average order value and product innovation.
Today 2/3 of our growth comes from advocacy through community and social. Our latest Moonfruit V6 (HTML5) product has just been released into beta. This means all site and shops built will be optimised to display on web, mobile or tablet.
You would be working closely with the Design Director of Moonfruit as well as the CEO and COO/CFO.
Skills/Qualifications:
6+ years relevant working experience
Results using PPC, SEO and content marketing channels
An understanding of social media in the widest sense
Data driven marketing methods and using data and analytics to inform strategy and campaign management
Proven results from creating and managing a marketing plan and budget
Product marketing experience
A hunger for responsibility and opportunity
An ability to hire, nurture and mentor a marketing team.
Graduate degree level education
Blue Chip and/or digital brand experience

The Marketing Team
The growing team consists of a content editor, content and social media execs and a PR/Comms Manager. We are also recruiting for a Campaign Manager. The team is expected to grow alongside the development team and works closely with the Design team to manage the brand and online content. The team works closely with best of breed digital marketing, brand/design and PR agencies.
