Can you tell us a little about the ISTA?
My company is the International Strength Training Association (ISTA). We educate and certify Personal Trainers and other Health Professionals online and through workshops.
What are your responsibilities at ISTA?
I oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. I am also very involved in the development and maintenance of the study materials and certification exams.
How did you get started with your company?
I founded the company in 2013 with the goal of providing an affordable Personal Trainer certification option at an affordable price. My experience as a Personal Trainer and my passion for fitness and health prompted me to start ISTA.
What have been some key factors in growing your business?
Since our business is conducted online, our main focus is targeted online marketing and advertising.
What do you use MoonClerk for?
I use MoonClerk for my one-time and recurring payments
Before MoonClerk, did you use another payment system?
Yes, we used WePay and Paypal. I enjoyed both, but WePay changed to a different API and business model and neither offered the recurring payment options I wanted.
What made you decide to use MoonClerk?
MoonClerk allowed us to offer payment plan option to our customers. With the other systems, we were losing customers due to the fact we were not offering a payment plan option and many of our customers could not afford to pay in full.
What was your experience when switching and getting started with MoonClerk?
MoonClerk was easy to set up and use. The customer service is fantastic. Anytime I have an issue I email customer support and I know within a couple hours the issue will have been resolved.
How has MoonClerk improved or helped your business?
With MoonClerk, we’re able to offer our customers a payment plan option and, because of that, our sales have increased dramatically.
