Just a skip over the water to the west of the island, the Rigaud Festival of Colours takes off this weekend with 3 days of free and affordable outdoor family activities on 3 separate sites. Continues through Monday!

This beautiful one woman show is an inter-generational tale of not only how the past impacts the present but more importantly, how despite all regrets, racism and the trauma of displacement, a new Canadian cannot but be transformed in her new country. 2 for 1 ticket special.

Costume Swap, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
BYO-Halloween themed costumes, jewellery, accessories & shoes. Clothing will be sorted, folded, & hung so people can claim whatever they’d like. Anything remaining by the end of the evening will be donated to a local charity. FREE.

Clog Dancing Lessons, beginning October
Easy to learn, enjoyed by all ages, and great exercise. No partner, previous dance experience, special shoes or equipment required – just a desire to have a good time!
