After Tuesday’s freezing rain made things a slippery mess in Montreal, an estimated 2 centimetres of snow and mild morning temperatures could be especially dangerous for pedestrians. Did we also mention messy? Practical footwear and waterproof outerwear are recommended.

Sitting at -2C at 6 a.m., temperatures will drop to a low of -12C at night after a high of 1C during the day.

Coming up today

The Canadiens are in Dallas tonight, while Team Canada plays Sweden in the semifinals of the World Junior Hockey Championship at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
