Service Opportunity: Sacred Heart Church in Lombard is in need of some student volunteers to help with a pancake breakfast on Sunday, October 9, 2016. If you are interested, sign up outside the campus ministry center.

Service Opportunity! York Center Park District will be hosting their fall Happenin' Halloween Special Event on Saturday, October 22nd from 1:00-3:00pm. It will consist of a carnival, a pumpkin patch, crafts, and a concession stand. They are looking for VOLUNTEERS! Great opportunity. Sign up sheet is outside the campus ministry center

Junior Retreat Forms : Any Junior who has not yet submitted your permission form for retreat, please do so ASAP. We need the permission forms for the remaining three retreats. Extra permission forms are in the Campus Ministry Center.

Attention Figure Skaters!! Join us for an intro to skating and a fall treat at the Fox Valley Ice Arena. Our first skating meeting will be this Saturday, October 1st from 5:30-6:30 P.M. Bring $13 for rental skates and ice time or bring $9 and your own skates.

Kairos retreat deadline!: Any Senior who would like to still sign up for the November Kairos must turn in a form by Oct. 14. It is a great experience and one you don't want to miss. JUNIORS: Junior Commissioning Mass and Ring Ceremony are next Wednesday, October 5th. If you and your parents or guardians are interested in attending the Mass, please return the RSVP form to Miss Steiner by Monday, October 2nd. The letter was sent to your email, were distributed in your English class, is posted on the Junior Schoology Group Page, or you can pick up a hard copy in Miss Steiner's room, Room 103.

In Volleyball news, the Lady Broncos are 2-0 this week with wins over Resurrection on Volley For The Cure night on Tuesday where the program raised over $1,400 for breast cancer awareness. The Lady Broncos followed up Tuesday's win with a win last night against Regina Dominican 25-19, 23-25, 25-20. The Lady Broncos were led by Caitlyn Meeks with 14 kills, 8 digs; Lexi Quaglia with 9 kills, 12 digs; Johanna Kingsfield with 4 kills, 11 blocks; and Kylie Boyer with 14 digs. Next up, tournament tonight and tomorrrow at Latin High School Chicago! Go Broncos!

Varsity soccer wins two in a row. On Senior Night, the Broncos beat DePaul College Prep 1-0 on a goal by Anthony Burger late in the game. The Broncos peppered the goal all night with 31 total shots, but didn't find the net until the last few minutes.

Last night, the boys beats Bishop McNamara 5-2. Tajh Mckelvy scored twice and notched an assist in the first half. Justin Mondschean scored along with Chris Parrilli to give the Broncos a 4-2 lead at the end of the first half. Johnny McManus had one assist to go along with Nathan Lukasik's two assists. Johnny then scored himself on an assist by Anthony Burger to complete the scoring. James White and Mike Orr turned in fine performances defensively.
