Leslie said, “How the hell did you find out where I live?” “Don’t worry about all that. Just know that I have my resources. Oh so I see that this is the little tot I’ve been hearing about. You named your store after her didn’t you?” “Oh my God. Are you kidding me, Cliff? Whomever let you out of jail really needs they’re asses kicked right now. Honestly.” “No. Because you think that you are going to get away with getting me put in the pen and you’re not. So you might as well get ready for that.” “I don’t have to get ready for anything.” “Kylie is such a PRECIOUS little girl. Is this how our child would’ve looked if you kept it? You know it’s funny how you got away with everything that you ever did. I mean, you fucked me numerous times and you were all in Donna’s face running the salon and then you got pregnant by me only to abort my child and then you lied to my son’s face about our affair and you got me put in jail. And poor Nicole. You killed the best thing that ever happened to my son.” “No you killed her when you brought her back to Atlanta to cause friction because me and Aiden. Me and Aiden wouldn’t have any problems if it wasn’t for you and that bitch.” “Wow! You’re still harboring anger over someone whose no longer here right? Hmmm, that’s really funny.” “What’s really funny is that you are now free and all you want to do is come to my house and threaten me? Shouldn’t you be running to go see Mama Jones?” “Oh don’t worry, she will see me. And so will Aiden and so will you. Have a good baby Leslie.” Clifford tried to kiss Leslie and she slammed the door. Outside, Clifford was laughing as he walked to the door.
At Ocean Prime, Ciara and Chandi met up for some seafood and Ciara said, “Now girl what is going on?” “Well, I’ll have you know that I met up with your girl the other day?” “Who?” “I met up with Sharde.” “Oh lord. Chandi, you are pregnant and you don’t need to be fighting that damn girl.” “I know that I don’t need to be fighting her. That is the point of the meeting. Me and Sharde are good.” “Y’all are good? What do you mean by good? Good and tired from fighting or?” “Girl, nobody threw any hands. Me and her talked over our issues and we are both good with each other now. She even invited me to her charity event and I invited her to my baby shower.” “Oh my God. I can’t even believe this, Chandi. I am so happy and proud of y’all.” “Don’t get too excited now because she will never be a friend of mine. But you know me and her will be able to be cordial and speak to each other and go to the same events without fighting all the time. That’s all I’m saying.” “Well I’ll take what I can get because you stopped fucking Terrance a long time ago and to still be beefing with Sharde over him was crazy.”
At Rosebud, Sharde and Rasheeda were having lunch and Rasheeda said, “So what did you have to tell me girl?” “Well, I think that you are going to be proud of me after I tell you. Are you ready?” “Yeah girl, I’m ready to see what this tea is.” “Well I met up with Chandi the other day and me and her squashed our beef and we are good.” “Oh my God. Are you kidding me?” “Yes, Rasheeda. I didn’t think that would happen and I don’t think nobody else will think that it would happen for us.” “I’m honestly happy for y’all and I think that it’s nice to see that y’all let that bullshit go. I mean really, you and Chandi’s beef stemmed from Chandi sleeping with Terrance while you were with him and you know you got him back and she got with Darren, so I just didn’t see why the beef had to continue.” “Because I was mad at myself for fucking up my own relationship. I was beefing with Chandi for good reason, but then again I was disrespecting Terrance. Fucking around with everybody and it’s just not cool and Chandi was there for him when he started having flashbacks about his uncle molesting him and you know they had a connection because she was molested by him too, so it made sense. I was there for him and she was. But you know the situation between me and Chandi is over with now. I’m just ready to move on.” “Well with you and Chandi making peace, I would think that you and Brandi can do the same thing.” “Now Rasheeda, I don’t know about all that. I really don’t. So I really don’t think you should ask for too much out of me, because you know I just can’t with Brandi right now. She’s not acting like a friend at all. She’s acting like a crazy person and I don’t think I can trust her again for the way that she played me.” “Well, I just feel like if you and Chandi can bury the hatchet and do what you feel, then I think anything is possible with you and Brandi.” “Chile, if it’s meant to be, it’ll be. But right now, I’d rather not have Brandi in my life.”
At Bluefin, Jacob, Demond and Dennis met up to discuss business details on Diamond’s. Jacob said, “Diamond’s did very well for it’s grand opening. It really did and I’m really surprised that you guys turned it out the way you did.” Demond said, “You shouldn’t be surprised at all, man. I mean, we had Dennis’ here name plastered all around it, so it’s like you know, it is what it is.” Dennis said, “Well I don’t’ think that I deserve that much credit.” Jacob said, “But you do though. I mean not only did you play ball for a while, but you are also the cousin of Ciara Davis-Harper, the founder of Pink Roses Clothing. Ciara is a big deal right now and for you to be affiliated with her is a good thing for the club. It’s going to make people want to attend that club because of your affiliation with Ciara. It’s good marketing.” Dennis said, “Well since you put it that way, I see what you’re saying about it right now.” “Right! So, y’all just need to keep doing what y’all doing and make sure that the club is the best thang smoking round here.” Demond said, ‘Trust me, we will.”
At Truffles Grille, Leslie and Brandi were sitting down having dinner and Brandi said, “So Clifford was at your doorstep while you had Kylie in your arms.” “Yeah. He was. He is out of jail and he has one thing on his mind and that’s paying me back for getting him put in the pen. I just don’t know what to do at this point and time right now. Like I really don’t know.” ‘Leslie, what about Jacob? Does he even know that he’s been by the house.” “No, he doesn’t know at all and I don’t play on telling him anything about it.” “Why not, Leslie? Jacob should know that you have a target on your back. You and your child.” “I don’t want Jacob to go looking for Clifford. If he found out about Clifford coming to my house and him threatening me and our daughter, he won’t be having that shit at all.” “But Leslie, that’s a good thing. You don’t need that shit right now. You have a fucking daughter and you don’t need some man from your past threatening your life like that. Like seriously. It’s just not cool and it’s not right at all. I’m sorry. I think that you need to tell Jacob about it.” “I don’t think I should girl, I just don’t know about it. It’s just gonna cause so much drama and I’ve been drama free for the last few months now.” “But my thing is, how the hell did he know where you lived though? That’s all that I’m saying.” “I don’t know, Brandi. That’s the first thing I asked him.” ‘Did Mama Jones tell him?” “I don’t think she would’ve told him and besides, she hadn’t even seen him yet, so that’s out of the question.” “Well girl, I can’t think of anyone else that could’ve told him unless he got somebody out here spying on you or something like that.” “I really don’t know, Brandi. But with Clifford being out of jail, it really has me scared of what could happen to my family. I’m thinking of letting Kylie with my mother for the time being. That’s how serious I am.”
At Gabriella and Aiden’s house, Mama Jones said, “Where is Gabriella?” “Well she and Yolanda went to a nightclub outside of the city to have drinks.” “Oh really? Hmph. I’m not surprised.” “Momma, stop it.” Then they heard a knock on the door and Aiden got up from the couch to open the door and he said, “Daddy?” Clifford said, “In the flesh!” “Oh my God. I can’t even believe this. I’m so happy to see you right now, Dad.” Mama Jones stood in the background and she was smiling and Clifford said, “Donna. How are you?” “I’m doing fine, Cliff. I’m glad to see you out of prison.” Clifford and Mama Jones shared a warm hug and Clifford said, “Where is this girlfriend that you’ve been talking about, Aiden?” “Well she’s out with a friend. If I had’ve known that you were gonna be getting out of jail today, she would’ve been here because I’ve told her a lot of things about you.” “Well how does Donna here feel about her.” Aiden looked at Mama Jones, who said, “She’s alright. That’s all I can say about that.” Aiden said, “Well anyway Daddy, I’m really glad that you are home now. It’s a lot of stuff you need to be caught up on.”
In Atlantic Station, Phoebe and Jameesha were walking around with shopping bags and Phoebe said, “We’ve really been shopping for Chandi’s daughter all day long. I really hope that she likes we got for her.” “Well I think that Chandi will be appreciative of it. How does it feel though? You’re about to have another niece.” “It’s weird. I mean, I’m only twenty-five and I’m an auntie with two nieces and on nephew. It’s really crazy and the fact that Darren is actually my biological father is still really crazy to me. It’s so surreal to me.” “I know it is. But I feel like it was only right. I mean, if you all seen him as a brother already, then you know it wouldn’t have been too much of a stretch to get adjusted to it.” “I know, but you know it was the way the truth came out and the lies and secret behind the fact that made it difficult to accept. You know what I’m saying? The problem was never Darren, but it was my parents and the lies that they told. But I’m glad that I can really Darren my brother. He’s my blood brother. He’s always been there for me and I know that he and Chandi will be great friends.” “I’m still surprised that he’s a father. I mean, with everything that I’ve heard about him from his past, I never thought I would see that,” “I mean, I know that you’ve heard about him being this playboy around Atlanta, which is basically true, but Darren really isn’t that bad. He’s really genuine and caring person to be honest.” “Jameesha, I’m sure of it and I’m sure that Chandi’s baby shower is going to be a fun affair with a lot of great people and great food.” “Well I know it is. Her and Sharde don’t like each other, so I’m glad that’s one less bitch that I don’t like, that I don’t have to see girl. I really can’t stand that hoe. If I see her again, I’ll whoop her ass.” “Jameesha, girl stop it. Listen go and get us something to eat. All of this shopping has made me hungry.”
At The Globe, Terrance and BJ met up for drinks and Terrance said, “So basically Gabriella has been putting plants in Phoebe’s ear all this time and Phoebe is falling for it.” “Yes, man. It’s really hard to deal with. I know that I’ve been nothing but genuine with her and for her to even believe that bullshit that Gabby has to say about me is like a slap in my face. I hate Gabriella, man. She is really a miserable ass bitch.” “Damn, those were some harsh ass words man for a woman that you used to be married to.” “But I don’t like her though, Terrance. Like from the moment she came back to Atlanta, she’s been on a quest to fucking my spot up and that’s exactly what she’s doing. She ruined my relationship with Brandi, but I refuse to let her ruin this one with Phoebe. But what’s been going on with you, T?” “Jameesha and her childish ass antics. That’s what’s been going on. Her and Sharde had a fist fight at Park’s Edge.” “Are you serious?” “And Jameesha was the one who started the damn fight. Me and Sharde were having a meeting about the charity event and she makes a scene. I’m telling you, BJ, I’m just about over Jameesha and her bullshit.”
At Sun In My Belly Café and Restaurant, Chandi’s baby shower was officially underway. Sheena said, “Girl, I’m really glad that you chose this spot for the baby shower. It’s really nice in here.” “I was glad that Ciara was able to pull some strings to get them to shut the place for today just for my baby shower.” “Well that was nice of them to do that.” Darren walked over to Chandi and gave her passionate kiss and said, “Hey Sheena. How are you doing?” “Well I’m doing fine, Darren. It’s nice to see you.” Chandi looked at Darren and said, ‘So where is Ciara and Jarrell?” “Jarrell just called me and told me that he and Ciara are on the way now. Ciara was running late doing her make up and stuff.” “Figures. Thank you boo.” Darren walked away and Sheena said, “I should’ve known that Ciara’s ass was going to be late as hell.” Leslie and Jacob then walked in with the baby shower gifts in tow. Darren said, “Leslie! Jacob! What’s going on y’all?” Leslie said, “Hey Darren.” Leslie and Darren shared a warm hug as Jacob and Darren shook hands and Darren said, “Man, what have you been up to? I heard that Diamond’s is doing really good right now.” “Yeah man it honestly is and I’m really happy about that.” “Now see if I wasn’t married now, I would’ve wanted to be apart of that situation.” Jacob chuckled and said, “Trust me, you would’ve been one of the first guys I asked to be apart of the club.” As Jacob and Demond continued to talk, Leslie ran over to Chandi and Sheena and said, “Hey girls.” Sheena said, “Leslie, hey.” Leslie and Sheena hugged and Leslie said, “I see ya, Chandi.” Chandi said, “Girl hush.” Leslie put her hands on Chandi’s stomach and said, “Girl, it’s almost time for London to arrive isn’t it?” “Yes, is it. I can’t wait girl.”
Meanwhile, Ciara and Jarrell walked in and Darren walked over and said, “What’s up, Jarrell?” “What’s up bro.” Jarrell and Darren shook hands and Ciara took off her shades and Darren said, “Hey Ciara.” “Darren.” Ciara walked over to Leslie, Sheena and Chandi and gave them all hugs and Jarrell and Darren shook their hands and Darren said, “That girl ain’t gonna ever change.” Sheena said, “Ciara, we already knew that you were gonna be late.” “Girl, you knew I couldn’t look a mess for my bitch’s baby shower.” Leslie said, “Well speaking of mess…” Chandi said, “Oh lord. What the hell is going on?” “Don’t you know that Clifford Jones showed up on my doorstep.” Ciara said, “What the fuck are you talking about? I know you’re not talking about Clifford Jones as in Aiden’s father, Clifford.” “Yes, that’s exactly who I’m talking about.” Chandi said, “Girl, what the hell is he doing out of jail.” Leslie said, “I really don’t know at all, but I’m scared because he’s already admitted that he’s back to ruin my life.” Sheena said, “Does Jacob know anything about it?” “No, girl he does not.” Ciara said, “You need to tell my brother what’s going on.” Leslie said, “You know how your brother is. You know how he is. He will kill Clifford and I don’t want that to happen.”
Meanwhile, on the other side of the restaurant, Jarrell, Jacob and Darren were standing up talking and Jarrell said, “So everything’s good between you two?” Jacob said, “What do you mean man? Me and Darren are good. We’re no longer beefing. We have no reason to keep going with it.” Darren said, “Right. I mean honestly I had no reason to be disliking the guy anyway to be honest with you. I really dislike him because of Aiden.” Jarrell said, “Well I’m glad that y’all have gotten past y’all shit. I mean, it wasn’t worth it.” Jacob said, “It wasn’t. I mean, like I said, Jarrell, me and Darren are good. I don’t know about me and Aiden. But me and Darren are good.” Then suddenly, Ree walks in and said, “Candice! Girl, where you at?” Ciara said, “Lord, here comes Ree’s drunk ass.” Chandi said, “Girl, she better not be drunk at my damn baby shower.” Ree walked over and said, “That goes my baby mama. Oh hey Leslie. Ciara. And who is this child, here?” Chandi said, “Ree, this is my best friend, Sheena. I thought you and her met.” “Nah, girl. I haven’t met her a day in my life, but knowing I probably don’t remember meeting her. Girl, where is Joe and Lynette?” “They are on the way here now, Ree.” “Well, I’m excited to see them. But just keep on the other side of the room with Frankie and James’s asses come in. I’d hate to beat Frankie’s ass.” “No fighting today, Ree. None!” Then Phoebe and BJ walked in and Chandi said, “Hey Phoebe. Hey BJ.” Phoebe and Chandi hugged and then Phoebe went on to hug Ciara and Chandi and BJ hugged and BJ said, “Here’s your baby shower gift. Me and Phoebe bought individual gifts.” ‘Thank you so much, BJ. You really do be looking out for me.” Phoebe said, “Ciara, I heard about the fashion week stuff for Pink Roses. It’s so exciting.” Ciara said, “Girl, I’m too excited about it.” Terrance and Jameesha arrived in the place and Jameesha said, “Hey Darren!” Jameesha said, “Hey lil’ sis. Terrance.” “Darren.” Jarrell came over to Terrance and Jameesha and hugged Jameesha and shook hands with Terrance and brought him to mix and mingle with he, Jacob and BJ. Jameesha said, “Darren, where is Ree?” “My mother just got here. Where is Frankie and James?” “She said she was a block away when I talked to her.”
Meanwhile, Rasheeda and Demond were outside of the restaurant bickering and Rasheeda said, “You lying ass bastard.” “Can we not bring our fucking drama into Chandi and Darren’s baby shower. Please.” “Whatever Demond, but we are going to finish this conversation later on.” Rasheeda and Demond walked into the restaurant and Sheena looked over at them and noticed tension between them. Leslie said, “Is it trouble in paradise already?” Sheena said, “What do you mean, Leslie?” “I’m talking about Rasheeda and Demond? Looks like they are fresh from a argument.” Rasheeda and Demond walked over to Chandi and Darren and Chandi said, “Thank you guys for coming.” Chandi and Rasheeda hugged and then Demond hugged Chandi and looked over at Sheena.
Chandi said, “I am so glad that you and Demond could make it here today.” Rasheeda said, “Girl, now you know I wasn’t gonna miss your baby shower and me and Demond bought you a gift.” “Okay well. Well give the gift to Sheena.” “Ok. Demond, go and give the gift to Sheena, so I can finish talking to Rasheeda.” Demond walked over to Sheena and said, “Hey.” “Hey.” “Well, Chandi told me to give you the gift since you’re in charge of them.” “Okay then.” Sheena took the gift and walked off and Demond watched Sheena as she was walking away. Then Ciara walked over to Rasheeda and Chandi and said, “Hey Rasheeda. Girl, where is Asia?” “Girl, Asia is at my mother’s house of the day. Where’s Jabari?” “Rasheeda, he’s with my mother and father, where he needs to be. It looked a little tense between you and Demond when y’all walked in here. Is everything okay?” “Girl, no. We had a huge blow up on the way over here. But that’s another topic for another day. I’m here to celebrate with Chandi and Darren, so you know.” Chandi said, “Well that’s good that you say that. No drama today now.” Rasheeda said, “I promise you that. There will be no drama.” Meanwhile, Sharde and Ricardo walks in and Leslie said, “Sharde?” “Hey girl.” “Sharde, I didn’t expect you to come here.” “Well in case, you didn’t know, me and Chandi talked about our issues and we didn’t decided to squash our beef and she invited me here and I invited her to my charity event.” “Oh my God. Girl that is so good. I’m so glad to hear that. And hey Ricardo. I’m so sorry.” Ricardo said, “Hey. How are you doing?” “I’m fine. I don’t think you’ve met the men have you?” Meanwhile, Terrance and BJ looked over and saw Sharde and Ricardo and BJ said, “Oh this is my first time seeing Sharde’s boyfriend. I’m real surprised that she’s even here.” Terrance said, “Me too. But it has to be a reason for her and Chandi to even be up in here talking.” “Maybe they buried hatchet.” “Maybe? Nigga, they had to for them for Sharde to be here.”
Then Lynette and Joe arrive and Chandi said, “Oh my God. Mom! Dad!” Lynette and Chandi hugged as so did Joe and Chandi. Chandi said, “I’m so glad that you could make it.” Lynette said, “I am too. Where is my girl?” Ree said, “Lynn!” “Ree!” Lynette and Ree hugged each other as Chandi and Joe looked on and Joe said, “It’s really nice to see them getting along. Last year we never would’ve thought that this was possible.” Then as Ciara was walking around the café, Tawanna walked in and said, “Oh hey, Ciara.” “Hey Tawanna.” “I see you’re still stank bitch.” “And I see that you’re still hating bitch that WISHES that she were me. It’s quite pathetic.” ‘Girl, if you weren’t my sister’s best friend, I’d beat your…..Hey Chandi.” Chandi walked over and said, “Mmhmm. You two better over here behaving because I’m not here for the bullshit. I done told y’all. No drama.” Ciara said, And we’re respecting that girl. There is no drama over here.” Tawanna rolled her eyes at Ciara.
Lynette said, ‘How have you been, Ree?” “Girl, I have been doing fine. I’ve just been looking out for Chandi and Darren.” “Well that is nice to know. I mean, I know that I can’t be there all the time, so it’s good to know that you’re here. How has things been with you, Frankie and James?” “Well me and James have always been good, so it’s nothing with that situation.” ‘What about Frankie?” “Lynn, Frankie can really rot in hell for all I care. I mean, I just don’t think I need to kiss her to get along because Darren is a grown ass man and he now knows who his father is, something that he should’ve already known a long time anyway.” “Right.” Then Frankie and James walked in and Chandi and Darren walked over to them and Chandi said, “Well hey Mr. and Mrs. Harper.” Frankie said, “Hi, Chandi.” Chandi hugged Frankie, so did Darren, who also hugged James. Chandi said to Frankie, “I’m so glad that you could make it.” “Me too. I mean, me and James wouldn’t miss this for the world.” On the other side of the room Jameesha pulled Phoebe to the side and said, “Oh there’s my mom and Dad. Hmph I wonder where Ciara is because I’d hate to show out on her ass today.” Ciara looked over at Sharde and said, “Here comes this wack ass bitch.” “Who girl?” “Jarrell’s mother. Girl, I can’t stand her.” “Girl, is it really that bad between you and Mrs. Harper?” “Yes it is, girl. And it’s not just her. It’s that little bitch, Jameesha.” “Ugh. Don’t even call her name right now because me and her had a fist fight at Park’s Edge.” “What? What happened?” “Me and Terrance had a meeting about the charity event and she came over and made a scene. She cussed the both of us and then she threw a glass of tea in my face and I got up and she attacked me.” “Oh no, Sharde. That just couldn’t be me.” Leslie looked at Sheena and said, “Girl, are you okay?” “What do you mean?” “It just seems like your whole mood has changed overtime. That just doesn’t seem right. Oh I’m fine. I’ll be right back. Let me find Chandi.” Sheena walked off and walked up to Chandi and said, “Can I talk to you for a minute?” ‘Sure girl. Let’s go.” Chandi and Sheena walked away, as Demond watched.
Jarrell and Darren introduced themselves to Ricardo and Ricardo said, “What’s up y’all. Sharde told me nothing but good things about y’all.” Darren said, “About me? Man, that’s a surprise.” Meanwhile, Terrance, Jacob and BJ were standing at the wall talking and Jacob said, “Ricardo seems like a nice guy.” Terrance said, “He does. I just don’t know if it’s right for me to go over and introduce myself to him. It just feels awkward to do that.” BJ said, “It’s not that deep, Terrance. I’m sure he knows about you and Sharde working together.” In the hallway outside of the ladies room Chandi said, ‘Sheena, what’s wrong.” “It’s so uncomfortable for me to be in the same room with Rasheeda and Demond and at this point, I don’t think I can hide this from her any longer. I have to tell her that Demond is my ex-boyfriend.” Rasheeda walked up and said, “Oh really?”
