How To Get Your $200 Bonus
You can choose from either of these checking accounts for the bonus:
BMO Harris Everyday Checking. Basic Checking account

A minimum opening deposit of $100 is required and you must be a new customer or not have closed a personal checking account with BMO Harris Bank within the past 12 months. Only one bonus is allowed per calendar year.
To receive your cash bonus:
To receive the cash bonus, you must mention or use the promo code, open the checking account and have qualifying direct deposits into the account. Go to the offer page and click on “Email myself a coupon and find a banker” to receive a code.
Have at least two direct deposits of any combination of a paycheck, pension payment, Social Security payment, or other government benefits payment of $300 or more each electronically deposited into the account from an employer or outside agency within 90 days of opening.
“Qualifying direct deposits” are recurring direct deposits of a paycheck, pension payment, Social Security payment, or other government benefits payment electronically deposited into your new personal checking account on a recurring basis, at least monthly, from an employer or an outside agency.
They reserve the right to request documentation to support that the direct deposits are qualifying direct deposits. If they determine you have met the terms of the offer, the cash bonus will be deposited into your new BMO Harris personal checking account on the Payment Date.
“Payment Date” means approximately 120 days after account opening.
The account must be open and in good standing on the Payment Date to receive the cash bonus.
The cash bonus is not considered part of the opening deposit and will be reported to the IRS for tax purposes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Take advantage of this $200 offer from BMO Harris Bank while it’s still available, as there’s no guarantee it will renew anytime soon. While BMO Harris frequently offers sign-up bonuses of some kind, this $200 promotion is one of their highest. Be sure to set up the two direct deposits with a combination of a paycheck, pension payment, Social Security payment, or other government benefits payment of $300 each within 90 days. Keep your account open for at least six months so that you don’t forfeit the bonus.
