When it comes to crafts, I prefer the pre-measured, pre-cut, pre-glittered, and almost pre-done variety. Give me a fully-loaded kit with all the supplies and fixings ready to go, and I’ll happily get my project on. It seems my three year old and I have just about the same amount of patience and attention span to see an arts and crafts activity from confident start to beautiful finish. So we generally love simple, easy, and pre-packaged projects—like this colorful Spritz Easter activity. (It comes with twine to turn these cute bunnies and eggs into a wreath or a banner or hanging ornaments… And, yeah, I helped my little guy spell a few names—but others he just made up.)
I still aspire to be a better crafter–and I think once my son is willing to sit still and work with me, I’ll find my inner artist. In the meantime, I can look to Pinterest and dream…
