I love Aspen in the winter. This town knows how to make the most of the season. This year, I got celebrate the Wintersköl Festival in Aspen–it’s all about embracing the cold and a Nordic lifestyle. Think food, fun and lots of snow. And what goes hand in hand with outdoor fun? You got it! The sniffles. Thankfully, I was participating in the fun with Puffs Plus Lotion. Armed with America’s #1 Lotion Tissue, there was no stopping me from experiencing all that Aspen has to offer.

Puffs Plus Lotion is designed to soothe irritated skin by locking in moisture better than regular tissues. This means an end to raw, red noses–with Puffs you can spend more time outdoors having a blast with family and friends.

No town seems to know more about winter fun than Aspen. I kicked off the weekend at the Ullr Nights celebration on Snowmass Mountain (Aspen has four skiing properties–Aspen, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass) at the Elk Camp Restaurant & Elk Camp Meadows.

I pretended I was 10 (I’m pretty good at that) and played with the other bloggers on the tubing hill. Ullr Nights honors the Norse God of Snow. Ride the gondola up and enjoy the scene–make a s’more, tube, sled and then head inside for cocoa, or in my case a glass of wine and some live music. What a treat to be up at the top of the mountain after all the skiers are gone.

I had big plans for my next day in Aspen. Time to get on the gondola again–but not yet time to ski.  As part of the Wintersköl event, there was yoga ON TOP of the mountain. It was just the thing to prep my muscles for a day on the slopes.

Now I was raring to click into my skis and take on some of the fresh powder. The mountain is amazing–lots of trees and long challenging runs. I brought my Puffs Plus Lotion To Go Pack along for the ride! If you know anything about skiing, you know it  can be rough on your skin. Puffs Plus Lotion is dermatologist tested to be gentle on sensitive skin and it won’t dry your skin out.

After some serious skiing, it was time to relax and rejuvenate at the Men’s Health & Women’s Health Village at Wintersköl. Puffs was part of the Lodge & Sanctuary at Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza. Skiers could warm up with complimentary coffee and hot chocolate and get a massage or a boost of oxygen from the O2 bar. Quite a few of the visitors to the spa said they were under the weather.

Did you know, over 50% of us say keeping tissues handy is a key factor in helping to survive while sick. Winter and the colds and flu can be hard on your family–especially sensitive noses. Instead of hibernating inside due to the sniffles or sneezing let the softness of Puffs Plus Lotion comfort your family’s sensitive noses. Lots of people were picking up the samples and were truly thankful for the chance to recharge.

After a bit pampering, I headed to the Men’s Health & Women’s Health Après-Ski Party! In addition to beer, and music, guests got to try new products and get free swag! If there’s one thing the Aspen skiers love–it’s a good party.

Did you know that 1 in 4 American adults are most likely to call their mom when they’re sick? I believe it. Because we all want to be comforted when are tired. After this incredibly fun and active day I was ready to tuck into bed. I had to practice self-care because my mom is back in Maryland. For me, that means Puffs and a steaming mug of tea.

Puffs Plus Lotion is available in cube, rectangular and to go packs online. To learn more visit www.puffs.com and facebook.com/puffs this winter stock up on Puffs and get out in the snow!
