For me, choosing a diaper bag was like studying for the SATs. There are messenger bags and shoulder bags and backpacks, and a broad definition of the perfect amount of pockets and organization. Does a diaper bag have an insulated bottle holder? A zipper for valuables? Neoprene lining for spills? Finding the perfect chic (and practical) diaper bag to add my wardrobe was a big task for me, but ultimately it came with big rewards.

The whole bag is a super stylish yet durable in a gray/aqua yarn-dyed polyester, and has plenty of pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap.

The Babymel crossbody bag in navy stripes was the very first bag I had my eye on when I started searching months ago. I love the fabric, especially for a summer baby, and I love the fact that it's a messenger-style bag, making it easy to carry with a baby and toddler in tow.
