Singer Ashlee Simpson introduced her daughter to the world on Twitter, writing "Jagger Snow Ross!! we love her so much. She's everything! best daddy in the world @realevanross." Jagger, born July 30, is Simpson's first child with Ross, a singer and the son of singer Diana Ross. Simpson also has a son, Bronx, 6, with ex-husband Pete Wentz.

Rockwell Lloyd Liu
Never one to follow the rules Lucy Liu surprised the world by announcing the birth of her son, via gestational surrogate, via Instagram. The actress posted this beautiful photo and wrote, "Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In ❤️!” So happy for her!

Della Rose Joel
Billy Joel and wife Alexis welcomed their first child together, daughter Della Rose, on August 12. Two days later, Billy took to Twitter to announce Della’s arrival saying, “Beautiful Della Rose Joel, born Aug 12th!” One day later, Billy was back on stage in Philadelphia and so was Della, in pictures at least. The crooner played “My Life” while showing photos of Della alongside his older daughter Alexa Ray, whom he had with first wife Christy Brinkley.

Actor Jeff Goldblum probably never thought he’d become a dad for the first time at age 62, but he did! The Jurassic Park actor and his wife Emile Livingston welcomed son Charlie Ocean on July 4. Former first daughter and "Today Show" correspondent Jenna Bush Hager and her husband Henry welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Poppy Louise Hager, on August 20. The baby is named in honor of Jenna’s famous grandfather, George H.W. Bush. Upon her arrival Jenna said of Poppy, “Welcome to the WORLD Poppy Louise Hager--named after my darling Gamps who went by Poppy during his childhood. In a sign of the times, Kensington Palace released a series of announcements about the new baby’s birth on Twitter, including that Charlotte weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces at birth.
