Devayani to pair with Mohanlal in the Telugu flick
Actor Devayani pairs with Mohanlal in the upcoming Tollywood flick Janatha Garage. She will play the wife character of the complete actor. Devayani is a familiar face in Tollywood through the blockbusters like Nani. The actor joins hands with Mohanlal after a short break. She had some successful on screen partnership with Mohanlal earlier in Mollywood and is considered as one of the best heroines of the actor.
The movie also features Junior NTR in the lead role alongside Mohanlal. Janatha Garage will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. According to sources, Unni Mukundan will join the camp in March after completing his commitments in Mollywood. He will play the chief antagonist’s role in the movie.
According to reports, Mohanlal will play Jr. NTR’s father in the movie, which directed by Koratala Siva. The makers were in search for the two leading ladies for a long time and finally zeroed in on Samantha and Nithya Menon. Nithya, who files high Tollywood after back-to-back hits Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Son of Sathyamurthy, OK Bangaram, and Rudramahadevi, will play Jr. NTR’s love interest in the movie.
The movie will be NTR’s 26th film and his fans are already in a chaotic mood to celebrate their hero’s joining hands with one the best actors in the country. “We are delighted to have National award-winning actor, Mohan Lal garu in our film with Young Tiger NTR Jr,” says an official statement issued by the producers’ Mythri Movie Makers.
Koratala Siva, who shot to overnight fame with the blockbuster Srimanthudu, is very excited about working with Mohanlal. “It will be a powerful role and will have lots of emotions. Both NTR Jr and Mohanlal garu are excited about the project and cannot wait to start working together,” reveals a source close to the director.
Mohanlal had earlier done a cameo in Balakrishna’s Gandivam. This will be his second movie with a leading star in the Telugu industry. Earlier, his Mollywood flick Prince, which was directed by Suresh Krishna, went on to become a box office hit in Tollywood. Janatha Garage is produced by Mythri Productions.
Earlier, National Film Award winner Chandra Shekhar Yeleti announced his upcoming multilingual flick with Mohanlal and Gauthami.
