When you’re a child you see everything differently, you see the world with a sprinkle of imagination. A cardboard tube isn’t just a cardboard tube – it’s a wand, a pair of skis, a light saber. Likewise sticks aren’t just sticks, they make simple and engaging handmade stick dolls, fence posts for a fairy garden, or even a ladder to the moon! – there are no limits to what everyday ‘stuff’ can be.

Molly’s favourite game to play with her new stick dolls is ‘hide and seek’ in the garden – stick dolls love hiding in the long grass…. I love this photo :)

This everyday recycling project was created as part of a new Sprinkles of Imagination campaign by the cool Nestle fab® Ice Cream team, which will run over the summer months. Nestle want to help parents and children see the world with a sprinkle of imagination, the essence of the campaign, and the reason I chose to join in the fun as a campaign ambassador… with more fun and creative ‘imagination-led’ ideas planned for the coming weeks.

Make sure to visit the fab® site for more information and details of some FabFunday events and a competition to win a family trip to Disney World Florida launching July 1st! Yes that’s right Disney Florida!!
