Top 10 Experiences in Colombia (550 words)
The things you absolutely must see and do in Colombia. Must include: Ciudad Perdida, Tayrona National Park, salsa dancing, surfing, diving, paragliding, Popoyan, Villa de Leyva.
Colombian Cuisine (550 words)
The national dishes and regional specialties, street food, desserts, sweets, and drinks.
Coffee (250 words)
Types of coffee drinks and coffee tourism in the Zona Cafetera.
Cultural Highlights (550 words)
Colombia’s cultural touchstones; must include: music (salsa, reggae, vallenato, cumbia), writers (magical realism), artists, major festivals, and soccer.
Know Before You Go (550 words)
When to go/seasons, what to pack/wear, money (ATMs, credit cards, exchanging money, tipping, bargaining, scams), should you talk politics?, no-go regions.
Language/Phrases (550 words)
Key Spanish words and phrases, use of English in Colombia, language courses.
Is Colombia Safe? (550 words)
Must include info on crime/kidnapping, scams, drugs, diseases (dengue, malaria, Zika, HIV), solo female travelers, LGBT, earthquakes, burundanga/ayahuasca.

What you need to know about the airports, taxis (taxi safety), buses, colectivos, metro, getting to islands, etc.
Visas and Vaccinations (550 words)
Visa and vaccination requirements for Colombia.
Staying Connected (250 words)
Info on wi-fi, internet, SIM cards, etc.
The Caribbean Coast (550 words)
The best of the Colombia’s Caribbean Coast; should include info on Santa Marta and Tayrona, Providencia (diving/snorkeling, fishing, reggae, beaches), San Andres (diving/snorkelling, Acuario, fishing, beaches, reggae), Barranquilla (carnival, Museo Romantico).
The Pacific Coast (550 words)
The best of Colombia’s Pacific Coast; should include info on surfing, mangrove tours, Coqui/Nuqui/Choco, Afro-Caribbean culture.
The Amazon Basin (550 words)
The must see and dos in the Amazon basin. Plus a sidebar on Colombia’s tropical fruits (included in word count).
Pre-Hispanic Colombia (550 words)
Info on Colombia’s pre-Hispanic wonders: Ciudad Perdida, Tierradentro, San Augustin. How to get there, what to watch out for.
Ecotourism – 10 Places to Visit (550 words)
Colombia’s best ecotourism offerings. Can be specific lodges and/or general areas offering yoga, kitesurfing, camping, rainforest, caves, nature reserves, rappelling, volcanoes/mud baths.
