After being in business for a little over a year as a virtual assistant, I realized I needed to adapt my business to keep up with the changing times; supply and demand. When I originally started my virtual assistant business, I offered social media management as an add-on service. Little did I know that this would become my most popular service! That being the case, I decided to close my event planning business and rebrand my virtual assistant business making my primary service social media management. My new mission is to help other small businesses make connections with their audience not just online using social media but also locally with social events.  This new direction allows me to combine over 20 years of office management experience, executive support experience and event planning experience into one business! So now my business is called the Socially Savvy V.A.!

So over the past few months I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mallie Hart of Go Creative Go! to create the new face of my re-designed company! I absolutely LOVE my new branding because it encompasses my new mission!  My favorite part is my mascot, Chamelia Flutterby!  Chamelia will be sharing tips on how to #besociallysavvy! Her tips will include information on all things social, not just related to social media but also being social in person.

So please stay tuned as I am working on a new website and a new blog!  In the meantime, I’ll continue posting on this blog but you can sign-up for updates on the reveal date for the new website and blog and my future newsletters here.

Do you have questions about how to connect with your target audience online and/or in person?  Please let me know in your comments and Chamelia and I will gladly post information to help you #besociallysavvy!
