Complaints? We love them. Really.

The proven, scalable Modria (www.modria.com) platform helps get customer problems resolved swiftly, effectively and at a low cost, delivering fast, fair resolutions.

Do you have a passion for Cloud and SaaS applications that run on Amazon Web Services? Do you have technical expertise with Web and Java Application Servers, Linux/UNIX? Do you enjoy scripting, automation and working with configuration management tools like Puppet/Chef or monitoring tools like Nagios? If so, become lead of our cloud operations team and be actively involved in the development and operations of our ODR platform.

We’ve assembled the world’s experts in alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”), with a specific focus on online dispute resolution (“ODR”).  Our team is comprised of leading technologists, dispute resolvers, and user interface experts.  We created and scaled the online dispute resolution systems that eBay and PayPal used to resolve more than 60 million disputes a year. Many of the top dispute resolution firms in the world have chosen Modria as their online solution.  In fact, we’ve seen every possible complaint and dispute imaginable. Our team pioneered the world’s first online dispute resolution system over 20 years ago. 400,000,000 disputes later, we really know what we’re doing.

In 2011, eBay granted us a technology license, and we spun out to draw on our experience to build Modria Resolution Center.  Resolution Center is a hosted ODR platform that implements best practices in dispute diagnosis, negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.  And we’re growing!

The successful candidate for this position will be THE person responsible for our production platform, and the development and test infrastructure administration across several geographic locations.  Our technology stack includes:

Java, Spring Framework, Play 1.2

OpenKM

Hibernate

JasperSoft

AWS
