The new trailer for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG debuted this morning on NBC’s TODAY show, introduced by Middle Earth veterans Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas).
The trailer joins the three banners released yesterday in heralding the imminent arrival of director Peter Jackson’s second installment in the trilogy that serves as backstory to the LORD OF THE RINGS saga. THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG will be released on December 13.
