It’s Time for BubbleFest!

The forecast calls for bubbles at CityPlace this summer! South Florida families and visitors can expect nightly showers of bubbles on the plaza starting today during the first-ever BubbleFest!



The free, 7-minute bubble show will be set to family-friendly music and run at 6, 7 and 8:00 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 2nd.

Eat Sushi & Stroll the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens

Time: 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Cost: $8 adults, $6 children (4-10) (museum members and children 3 and under FREE); $2 for taiko performance (optional). Reservations are not required.



Summer nights in South Florida are something special, especially when they are augmented with taiko drums and a cultural backdrop that can’t be beat! Add a cold drink, a breathtaking sunset and a walking path through a tranquil garden and you’ve got Sushi & Stroll Summer Walks! Stroll the gardens at your own pace and take advantage of the free tour of the museum and gardens for smart phones.

Please note that the museum galleries are closed for these special nights. Food and drink are not included with event admission.

See Dave Matthews…in Tribute

Head to the Mizner Park Amphitheater to check out a FREE Dave Matthews (the Tribute) Band concert!

Time: 7:30 p.m.



Blankets and chairs are welcome; chairs will also be available to rent. Please leave all pets, outside food and beverages, and umbrellas at home. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Free overflow parking is always available at city hall and the downtown library, a short walk from the amphitheater.

Take a Safari at the Palm Beach Zoo

At “Safari Night: Cowboy/Western,”- children will enjoy wild west themed games, keepsake crafts, giveaways, face painting, a DJ Dance Party hosted by Noisy Neighbors DJs, and themed photo opportunities with characters throughout the Zoo.

They can also dress to match the “Western” theme to be entered to win a $150 Palm Beach Zoo Prize Pack, with a winner to be drawn at the end of the summer.

Saturday, July 11th:

Shop the Summer GreenMarket at Delray Beach Tennis Center

Located on the eastern half of the Delray Beach Tennis Center,the Delray Beach GreenMarket will take place every Saturday this summer.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to noon

The Summer GreenMarket will be a slightly scaled back version of the regular Green Market, with about 30 to 35 vendors participating each Saturday morning. In addition, the hours will be from 9 am until noon only, to avoid the summer afternoon heat. As always, the GreenMarket is pet friendly, and guests can continue to enjoy live music throughout the morning.

Attend Art-e-ology at the Boca Museum of Art

Nancy Graves- Mixed Media Narratives

Students in grades 3-5 will create a masterpiece in the style of an artist currently on view at the Museum.

Roar & Pour at the Palm Beach Zoo

Guests can enjoy a night at the Zoo with drinks, food and live music from the band White Witch, a tribute to Stevie Nicks, playing from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Up close animal encounters, entertaining zookeeper talks and a Tap Takeover with Funky Buddha Brewery will keep the fun going all evening.
