The European Commission has cleared a joint venture between Telefonica and two Spanish banks, CaixaBank and Banco Santander.  The EC looked in particular at the venture’s proposed digital wallet. According to a Distimo report in the first six months of 2013 both Google Play and the Apple App Store have seen considerable increases in their total revenues. Mobile advertising firm InMobi has released its latest Australian Mobile Insights Report, showing that over 2.74 billion ads were served on the InMobi Australia network in Q2 2013 – 845 million more ads than Q2 2012 – supporting the recent findings from the IAB this week that online has finally overtaken TV as the biggest spending advertising medium.  Read Original Content
