I was looking at a good outfitter tent for hunting and family fun and a few things lined up to make this particular setup really affordable.
Cabelas has their Ultimate Alaknak wall tent series on sale, the 12x12 runs $750 right now, normally $830. This specific variation of the tent can be separated into 30 or less pound packable bits unlike the larger models which may or may not be a consideration for setup/handling and-or packing it to a hunting location away from your vehicle.

While shipping is free online you can't use the $75 off $500 coupons they mailed out this month (good until 9/26) and have to pay $28 in freight overage due to the item weight. I talked to the folks in store and they were able to get me the same combo for in-store pickup (5-7 business days for everything to arrive) without the extra freight charge, they applied my $75 coupon and with $30 worth of points I walked out of the store for a hair under $700 (including tax). I was apparently the first person to bring the online cot freebie to their attention in store but they were fine honoring it up in Rogers.
