In case you’d forgotten Conor McGregor wants to fight Floyd Mayweather, here’s footage of him doing a little extra boxing training.

Conor McGregor would like to remind you he's still interested in that Floyd Mayweather boxing match.

The undisputed lightweight champ and disputed featherweight champ laid out his desire for what he called a potential billion dollar fight during his 'An Experience With Conor McGregor' event in Manchester last week. To hear Mystic Mac tell it, he's willing to sit on the sidelines for a year or two if necessary to make the fight happen.

With Floyd Mayweather also sounding very interested in some easy money, the superfight is now far beyond the ridiculous hypothetical it seemed to be a few weeks ago. And now McGregor has put up footage showing him working his boxing skills in a sparring session at Straight Blast Gym. We've got to hand it to them, McGregor Enterprises sure do know how to keep hype for the fight at a constant simmer.

McGregor isn't the only one doing a bit more boxing than usual during training. While Conor seems happy to spar with his teammate and fellow UFC fighter Artem Lobov, Nate Diaz is pushing himself against world champions like Amir Khan in California. Nate recently followed Conor's lead and applied for boxing licenses in multiple states, possibly in an attempt to use the Muhammad Ali act to free himself from his UFC contract.

McGregor himself mentioned the Ali act as a potential nuclear option if the UFC tried to stop his dream fight from going forward, adding that he'd rather they were on board than not. But with both McGregor and Diaz looking for way bigger pieces of the pie at a time when the UFC definitely doesn't want to radically upend their entire pay structure, we'd optimistically set the clock on this looming showdown at three minutes til midnight.
