Why It Matters: From a market standpoint, we will find out of the fans in Salt Lake are more keen to shelling out their hard-earned dough for a UFC event, after the promotion's first attempt to stage a fight night there in 2010 was moved to California due to poor ticket sales.

What's Hot: Yair Rodriguez -- who is not an "animal" or a "criminal" -- has proven to be an up-and-coming star in the 145-pound weight class, and if he can manage to take out Caceres, who is currently enjoying a two-fight win streak, it will likely catapult him into the top 10.

Plus, if he can win and look good while doing it, the promotion may soon be putting more of its efforts into pushing him as the face of the Latino market.

On the other hand, a win for Alex will be huge for his own career and legitimize his place in the division.

What's Not: Cub Swanson vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri.

I like the fight, I just don't like the placement, as it has been pegged to headline the UFC Fight Pass "prelim" portion of the event. I get the company's idea, but not everyone is sold on the online platform and it's a fight a lot of people will miss out on. Personally, I would've picked this fight to kick of the Fox Sport 1 main card.

Original Card vs. Actual card: Brad Tavares was originally set to face Thales Leites but was forced out of the event with an injury and replaced by Chris Camozzi.

New Blood: Danielle Taylor will make her Octagon debut against Maryna Moroz in the women's Strawweight division. Talk about a tough first fight.

Also, undefeated (8-0) Joseph Gigliotti will look to take his finishing skills to the eight-walled cage for the first time when he makes his debut against Trevor Smith. All of Joseph's eight wins have come via knockout or submission.

Injuries: A rib injury suffered by Brad Tavares scrapped what would've been an entertaining bout between he and Thales Leites. Thankfully, UFC found a worthy replacement, as Camozzi is riding a three-fight win streak into Salt lake and has all the tools to hand Leites his third straight loss.

How The "Prelims" Look: Not too good in my opinion. Looking down the line, you don't have too many established veterans or big names to give the "prelims" a boost other than the aforementioned Swanson vs. Kawajiri fight, which I am really looking forward to.

Who Needs A Win Badly: This portion is typically reserved for fighters who could be fighting for their jobs today, rather than contenders or title challengers needing victory. Let's take a look at those who need to pull it together:

Thales Leites is going into the event on a two fight skid. Granted, those losses came against Gegard Mousasi and division champion Michael Bisping. But if he drops his third straight to Camozzi, it could earn him yet another release from the promotion.

Interest Level: 5/10 -- I'm just being honest, guys.
