World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 26: "Palmer vs. Almeida" takes place on Dec. 18 inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lance Palmer defends his featherweight title against Alexandre de Almeida in the WSOF 26 headliner.

The rest of the scheduled line-up for the event has been shuffled a bit. Light heavyweight fighter and kickboxing star Tyrone Spong was expected to have his first WSOF fight since August of 2013, but has withdrawn due to injury.

Spong's scheduled opponent Jake "The Honey Bear" Heun (8-4) will instead be taking on Las Vegas' own Clinton Williams (10-2) in a bout moved to the night's preliminary action before the live broadcast on NBC Sports Network.

Other preliminary fights have been announced for the card, which will air via WSOF.com starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. Welterweight prospect Abubakar Nurmagomedov (10-1), last seen winning a unanimous decision over Jorge Moreno, will take on WSOF veteran Danny "Dee1" Davis (11-9-1).

WSOF has also revealed that Andreas "Sweet Swede" Spang (9-3) will take his first bout for the promotion against undefeated Russian fighter Shamil Gamzatov (9-0). Also at featherweight, "Mean" Hakeem Dawodu (5-0) squares off with Marat Magomedov (7-0).
