Jones, who is sponsored by NIKE, should just do it.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has already booked light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for a 205-pound title defense against Swedish nemesis Alexander Gustafsson, for the upcoming UFC 177 pay-per-view (PPV) event on August 30, 2014 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There's just one teeny, tiny problem.

It appears "Bones" has yet to sign his new contract, despite the fact that "The Mauler" -- who took the champ to his limit back at UFC 165 in Toronto -- has already put pen to paper.

So, what's the hold up?

"You gotta ask Jon Jones that," UFC President Dana White told the mixed martial arts (MMA) media in Berlin. "I don't know. I don't like it, I don't like it at all."

Neither does Gustafsson.

"Still no signature from you on that piece of paper from the UFC," the 16-2 light heavyweight wrote on his official Facebook page. "As a champ, accept my challenge. You have something that belongs to me and I want it. The fans are waiting, so come on now, stop delaying."

Jones has yet to respond.

Gustafsson held up his end of the rematch bargain by blowing away Jimi Manuwa in the UFC Fight Night 37 event back in March. That was his first appearance since sending Jones to the hospital and cementing himself as the second baddest man in the division.

For now.

"The Mauler" was calling for an immediate rematch not long after the dust cleared from their first go-round, but Jones was dismissive of the towering Swede and instead made the "badass decision" to face Teixeira, something that led Gustafsson to believe the champ was ducking him.

Your move, champ.
