In the semi-main event, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans will try to put the first blemish on Daniel Cormier’s undefeated record. Cormier has a lot of hype, but so far has fallen slightly short of expectations since debuting in the UFC. The smaller, quicker Evans will be an interesting test for Cormier after fighting two opponents in a row who substantially outsized him.
