The Our Lady of the Angels Province of Franciscan Friars Conventual seeks a qualified candidate to preserve the inactive member files of a suppressed province near Albany, NY. Physical and intellectual control of the inactive member personnel files is required to assist the offices, agencies, and ministries of the former and current Province. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant work experience.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience processing religious member personnel records, possess a working knowledge of Microsoft office, be familiar with scanning, email and Internet search techniques, exhibit effective communication and teamwork skills, be a self-starter who is attentive to detail as a part-time lone arranger, have a passion for history and archival work and a desire to serve the Church. Knowledge of or a willingness to learn the history of the Catholic Church and the Franciscans is preferred.
