We are currently accepting applications for an Assistant Library Director and Digital Assets Librarian.

This position manages the day-to-day operations of the library including coordinating the daily work of the library staff.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  assisting the Dean in formulation of library goals, policies and procedures; developing and writing new procedures; delegating responsibility for the operation of the circulation desk, handling patron complaints and needs; recommending improvements in services and collection; and performing additional duties as needed. The position also requires working with the library’s Electronic Resources Coordinator to implement strategies to enhance management and presentation of digital collections including serials, knowledge bases and electronic resources.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an ALA accredited program in Library & Information Science; minimum of three years’ experience managing professional staff; experience managing and acquiring eResources; and demonstrated knowledge and experience integrating trends and best practices in digital asset management. Occasional weekend and evening hours required during the academic year.
