PERSONNEL STATUS:  Nonexempt, Full-time, Regular

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., subject to change depending on the needs of the Library.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will serve as an eresources copy cataloging technician for the Bibliographic and Metadata Services department. Specific duties include: performing basic copy-cataloging for electronic resources; searching for and processing catalog records for individual titles and batches; maintaining database activities related to eresources; performing copy cataloging for media equipment and sound records; processing print materials on occasion; and performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and one year of library or related clerical or public service experience.

SALARY:

Pay Range 7 (starting at $29,016) based on the University System of Maryland Pay Program.
