For those of you who may not know even by now, I am a huge Gas Monkey Garage Fan (aka the TV Show Fast “N” Loud) on Discovery Channel.    I liked the logo so much that I decided to buy three hats to take with me across the country to see my 224 MLB Games in all 30 MLB Parks trip.

88000 Miles later, 35 States and all 30 MLB Parks saw the lid.

The hat made its way onto several TV interviews, newspaper articles and I also made it to the Gas Money Garage and Gas Monkey Bar and Grill near Dallas TX.

It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to be able to see the place in person after watching every single episode on TV.

Richard Rawlings  Follow @rrrawlings  has a great philosophy of blood, sweet and beers.  It is my second favorite slogan to “be a man and drink like a fish”, but it is still cool.

The owner of the Gas Monkey empire also stays true to Fast ‘N’ Loud – as he has participated in many cross-country car races, and he did the ‘cannonball’ record run from New York to Los Angeles in 31 hours and 59 Minutes – to establish a new World Record with his buddy Dennis in 2007.

I only pulled off a 1313 Miles drive from Denver to Seattle as my best feat of endurance this year, but then again I still hold the fastest distinction to all 30 MLB Parks in 23 Calendar Days.

Richard is also great with his fans – and I am happy to announce that he follows the MLB Reports on Twitter, as does the Fast “N’ Loud Follow @fastnloud  twitter and Gas Monkey Bar and Grill twitter accounts Follow @gasmonkeydallas

The couple of times I mentioned to him on twitter that I made it to TV with my hat, his reaction was “GYSOT”  short for Get You Some Of That.  Another time he answered every question from his fans for 6 hours at the Dallas Airport after his flight was cancelled – all because he missed out on a live Appearance.  He does this stuff all of the time.  There is a reason why his show and brand are so successful.

I urge everyone to tune into this show as it cracks me up all of the time with his (and his crew’s) ventures.

It was only to bad that I showed up at the Garage when he wasn’t there that day.  So Richard, thanks for the inspiration and for always doing crazy things, and spending money to make money – by going all out.  As you like to say “Leter rip Tater Chip!”

I am happy to be back at the helm of the MLB Reports, after completing my 224 Games in the MLB Trip in 2015.  It was the 4th time I have seen all 30 MLB Parks since 2008.  During that time away I was fortunate to do 100 Media Interviews and be named the Baseball Blogger Alliance President.
