Now that you survived Valentine’s Day, you’ve got new goals, whether it’s to fall in love, or never fall in love again and just get-it-on as much as possible. And this will help you out, either way.
A new study by Luminoso analyzed the language in more than 100,000 reviews of different dating apps to figure out the best ones for finding love and the best ones for just hooking up. Spoiler alert: You’re in the best situation in both cases if you’re a lesbian.
The top six apps for finding a real relationship are: Her, Fem, Happn, Scruff, OKCupid and CoffeeMeets Bagel.
If you haven’t heard of some of those, Her and Fem are lesbian dating apps, Happn is a standard “swipe on local single people” app, Scruff is a gay dating app and OKCupid and CoffeeMeetsBagel are old school dating sites.
The five best apps for hooking up are basically the same ones, in a different order: Her, CoffeeMeetsBagel, Fem, Happn and OKCupid.
So what apps don’t work for either? eHarmony, Christian Mingle, and Grindr all got the most negative reviews for finding both relationships and hook ups.
